ICOMOS International Conservation Center, Xi’an, China

Erwu Li (Woods) is director of secretariat of the ICOMOS International Conservation Centre – Xi’an. He is dual post-graduated from Northwest University, Xi’an and SOAS, University of London with degrees in archaeology and museology/archaeology and art. Woods has been serving the conservation, protection and international coordination of Silk Roads cultural heritage for 14 years. He enjoys being an amateur piano and rhythm guitar player in a dismissed local pop band. More importantly, he used to be a student of, and is now, a good friend of Prof. Tim Williams.
